PayPal Scam Alert.
Being that so many people use
PayPal to purchase motorcycle items online I felt it
necessary to make an alert to this email scam. Read the copy of the email below, it is NOT from
Paypal. If you EVER have a question about your
Paypal account, do not log onto any email link sent that says it is from
Paypal. Instead, log on to your account just as you normally would to see if there is a problem.
What these
scammers do is get you to log onto the supplied link in their email. After you put in your info they have your account number and full access to your account. As you will see in the email, they want you to wait 72 hours before checking any investigation as they say it takes that much time to research it. LIES! What they want is for you to not check so they can have that time to carry out their illegal game; after 72 hours it will be to late as the damage is already done. (Note that I have changes some of the info in their account they want you to log into.)
