A Man Said To Me

He said; "I don't care what them others say about you,I think your alright."

My reply; "Oh. Well thanks. I guess you just don't know me that well."

Here's another. Guy at work walks over and wants to borrow a tool from me; "Can I borrow that tool ?" he asks

Me being smart ass again; " Let's see. Hmmm, did I give you permission to ask me if you could ask me if you could borrow that tool?"

Him; Just standing there scratching his brain trying to figure out what I just said. Deer in the head light look, get's em most every time.
