I've heard this song for years, both Bob's and Tina's versions are great in my opinion; Although Segers version does evoke something more. Lyrics, "Not a motorcycle allowed in it," well... this just makes me want to ride up there ON my motorcycle. Maybe Betty Lou will be getting out that night; Who knows.
I want to ask others to join me in riding to Nutbush Tennesee. We can even do a patch if need be, "I Rode to Nutbush, and lived to tell the tale" or "Watch out for the Police in Nutbush City Limits," still thinking on that slogan.
Who's brave enough to ride with me? Anyone??? Come on, it'll be fun. Hell! I guess I'm just looking for a thrill. I'm smiling now just thinking about it.
