Defective Motorcycle Tires

I know that many of us purchase our tires in the faith that they are safe. We go for looks or tread design or cost but rarely ever think about structure or even recalls. That little shimmy you feel sometimes has you scratching your head because you've checked everything. You checked the chain/belt, axle bolts, axle bearings, shocks, tread depth, air pressure, tire balance, engine mounting bolts, rear tire, front tire, forks, stem nut and bearings, rims, spokes, brakes etc and found nothing. The only thing you haven't considered is the tires integrity. Could the tire be failing from the inside out? Tread seperation perhaps, broken cords in tires from smacking that pothole a month ago?

Thanks, I'm gonna check it out. I just drained my front fork sliders and WHOLLY SHIT! It's perfectly balanced now...so well that I can do the whole "Look Ma! No hands!" deal without effort....
