This Years Blistered Bottom Ride is complete and my tail bone is frickin numb.
I have to do something about that hard asses seat. After eight hours in the saddle I could barely walk because of that seat.
Sorry, you missed it this year.I have to do something about that hard asses seat. After eight hours in the saddle I could barely walk because of that seat.
Got pictures of these bikes
And these bikes over on the Snake in Tennessee ...
...but I neglected to get one single solitary one of mine. Though I do have video of mine, Peewee and Paul. Peewee and Paul took off so fast I just nudged in some footage of them riding out on Sunday morning.
Maybe next year the turn out will be more.

A numb ass tailbone, but was your bottom blistered? I don't think we want to know.
I am glad you had a good time even if you did have a numb bum.
Oh, man, I hear ya! I have gone through at least 10 seats on my 3 bikes (at no little expense).
Sounds like a good time, regardless of the numb butt.
Butt (pun fully intended), the ride is always so much more enjoyable when you're comfortable.
Trobairitz,
Nope, no blisters on the bum. Thanks, it was a great time. I'm working on a little write up about the ride and area.
Dan Diego,
I think I know why the seat gives me pains. Where the back of the seat rolls up to keep you from sliding out of the saddle; that is right where I tend to sit. Perhaps a butt buffer would help, that or I bite the bullet and get the one I made to form fit the bike padded and covered. This would give me more room to sit farther back.
