Are There Forest's In Arizona?
One of my grandmothers use to live part time in Tucson Arizona when I was a kid, but she never mentioned any woodlands. Sadly none of us kids ever got out there to see her during winter months she'd be out there. Sometimes she would be there in the summer and in Georgia or Michigan for winter. All depended on what season she wanted to be where I guess. She loved to tell us about the area and how pretty it all was and how different it was from our home in North Georgia.

Yep, real trees and forests in Arizona. You can ski on the white stuff in the morning and the wet stuff in the afternoon in Arizona and drive through the forest between them. It is a diverse state, but the Cowboys and Indians now drive instead or ride horses.
Wooley... The pics my hubby took while on his trip out there captured a little of everything. Forests, mountains, desert and canyons! The thing that came to mind when I read this was the petrified forest that he saw. I'll try to post pics of it for ya on my blog. Really cool place. You should try to visit there sometime.
Besides... there are some pretty cool bikers that live there who may even show you around. (Just be careful... they're kinda hard on the animals out there!)

Seriously...AZ was pretty damned cool. It has pretty much everything and pretty diverse. The road never stays the same...unlike Nevada.
Nope. Nothing but sand, cactus and big-ass ants. I think they got a big hole in the ground somewhere.
Yes, I have seen them, but you have to go through the dez to get there....
Thanks for all the comments. But I would like to see some pictures of the forest's. I hear the Desert is a pretty place and you can find land there resonable.
