ABCD (A Bloggers Centerline Day)

This is the center line of Old Glencoe Mill Rd inside Glencoe Mill Village in Alamance County North Carolina. It's hard to tell but this is a downhill grade leading out of the little Historically preserved Mill village that had once been left to crumble, forgotten except for the critters and one single old man who had lived here when it was still in operation.
I chose this location because like my Sportster it had been left aside for many years until someone decided to breath new life into it; it's a work in progress. Though not completley fully restored, as my bike is not, it is well on the way to resurection. 99% of the homes have all been restored and now work continues on the old Mill Buildings themselves.

Thanks for the little fun outing goes to Gary France http://garysusatour.blogspot.com/ after viewing his blog I find there all a whole bunch of fantastic other blogs to catch up with now.

I love that you choose a work in progress place, after all, isn't that we all are?

If I'm a work in progress, it's all going backwards! Nice shot, Woolley.

This is a great story and has history too! I couldn't do it yesterday... really sad about that, but its great to see what everyone did!

Eve, glad you came by. Your ABCD was a cool look and idea. Your little dog was trying to steal some limelight.

mq01, thanks and so are you.

Rhonda, your so right. I had somethig else in mind but then the Mill Village just seemed so perfect to me. I've watched it go from forgotten to loved.

Richard, glad you stopped in. Sometimes ya gotta go backwards before going forwards.

KT Did,
Thank you. I was so looking forward to what you and your dog Murphy would come up with. Kind of pictured him riding away with you running behind sort of thing.

I'm laughing, even though I shot coffee through my nose! I can just visualize your picture! LOL!

K.T... with all those glamor shots you keep posting of Murray, he's just liable to turn the tables on you one day! Muwahahahaha!

Great pic of you Wooley. It was fun to visit everybody's blog to see what they came up with. I'm gonna bounce over there to Gary's blog to see who won!
