Building Light Houses
The Wife and I were busy this weekend, yep, we built a light house to guide travelers safely to port. This is a replica of the Oak Island light house here on the coast of North Carolina. This light house puts out gobs of light, a good ten feet of light actually. Tried to get a night shot of it but can't remember how to cut off my flash.

Thanks Trobairitz. We had fun doing it. The real lighthouse is painted in thirds like this and has four flashes every ten seconds. it is the second most powerful light house in the world. We learned that the lighthouses are all painted in a different scheme and flash time intervals to not only alert Ships of the coastline but also to tell them where they are. They are huge information signs of sorts.
Just don't start building ships.
