Great shot. I like how it looks like your helmet matches the tank.

Thanks, my son took this of me while laying on the ground. The helmet is a very close match though my new silver one does not. Maroon and darker reds are not easily recognizable and picked up by our brain by the human eye thus vehicles with that color are involved in more accidents for not being seen. It's weird but true.
So, I needed something to break up the marron. Also, another way to be seen is to have something that waves/flaps on your bike or person. A rider who uses hand signals in traffic will be seen before a rider using just a turn signal. You see, the way a turn signal gets attention is by it's flashing and the larger the better. Hand signals work even better because there is more mass of movement. Think of someone waving in a crowd or watch Steve McQueen in the movie Magnificent seven with Yul Brynner. Steve keeps fiddling and flapping his hat to steal scenes from Brynner which pissed Brynner off during filming. It worked because Steve was most remembered for his role than was Brynner. So you see, hand signals get more attention because of the movement as does something flapping on your bike or you could use an old tried and true 'Get Back' Whip or Biker Whip to draw the eye to you.

Sorry, more info than you probabaly wanted.
