Sell My Sportster

Okay, so I am at a point where I think I have to sell my Sportster. Not that it is something I want to do but if I am to proceed with this new venture I'll need the funds. A friend has a motorcycle shop and can put my Sporty on the floor for me. More foot traffic that way instead of Craigs list and potential buyers who never show up which corrupts your day. In my mind is that I can get another bike after my motorized bicycle shop is up and running or better, be riding one of my own motorcycle creations.
The wheels are turning with planning and searching for the right people and companies to work with. I just have to decide which I want more, the bike I have now or the two deals working for the future.

Then there is the Saddlebag sideline already in motion. Dang!

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I traded and sold all sorts of crap to get my business started. It took me four years but I got my dream bike finally, plus I got to do what I wanted to do.

I have seen alot of people running around on those motorized bicycles lately. I think this just might be a winning thing at the right time...seriously.

FLHX_Dave, Thanks for the encouragement as it is well needed. Out in Arizona is Spookytooth cycles who has been doing well with them for some time now. I first came across them when I was writing for Garagechoppers and researching the Whizzers.
The plan - get things rolling with these - is to make the motorbikes then progress to making motorcycles, not one off customs, but real life rideable simple Motorcycles for the masses. (Pretty far out vision I know)But like you said, I think these motorized bikes are making a huge come back.
What business are you in I wonder?

Willy D, It is a 1975 XLH that is mostly bone stock except for the seat, Tank and Pipes. I have the original tank for it

Too bad you can't ride her out to Arizona and take you a little vacation. I bet Big Daddy Nelson would take that bike off your hands!

Hey Joker!
That would be sweet wouldn't it? Meet you all, have a beer or three and enjoy some down time without all this rain. I have not had a real vacation in...hell, I can't remember.

Thanks mq01, I'm just waiting for the paperwork/forms to come now to be an authorised dealer. Once I get that, after awhile of being an established dealer I'll be able to apply to add others and be a dealership for other motorbikes and motorcycles.
