Bendix/Zenith Carburetor ahh hah
It would seem my 16P12 Bendix has an adjustable main jet hench the spring not shown on the break down pictures and parts list or rebuild kits. This adds to confusion but I'll figure it out. The picture is definitely getting clearer now. Glad the factory isn't to far away. Almost ready to do the happy dance but will have to wait until I get the kit hopefully this week.

That was common. Look at it this way; you don’t have to buy one and it’ll be easier to tune.

Hi Wooley!
Hope you are well. I have been too busy to think these days. My friend, Map Girl is undergoing Chemo and by taking on donated projects, I find myself too busy to relax. I am looking forward to my trip. I still plan to do it, but I am really in a bind wondering what time of year is best to travel across country. I am getting so many opinions, its overwhelming. In any case, I have reservations in Sturgis and I was thinking of just extending it to make it coast to coast around August time. You think thats a good time on the East Coast? I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew!

Willy D, your right on both counts. I like the simplicity of this carburetor and the price couldn't be beat.

KT Did, Sounds like crazy busy time. Don't get yourself to caught up in to many things else wise it won't be fun.
August is a good time here on the east coast, not to hot not to cold and genrally the weather is perfect.
